This project is being launched as part of a strategic partnership between ELT Group and Barceló Hotel Group, further highlighting Georgia's growing prominence in the international hospitality and investment markets.

The official agreement was signed in Madrid, the capital of Spain, legally sealing the partnership through which ELT Group introduces Occidental Hotels & Resorts—a leading sub-brand of the Spanish hospitality giant Barceló Hotel Group—to Georgia. The hotel will be located within the multi-functional complex "ELT Quarter" on Batumi's New Boulevard. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the region's tourism and real estate sectors; the Occidental brand is globally renowned for its functionality and comfort, while the project itself will be operated under the direct management of Barceló Hotel Group, ensuring a European standard of service. Notably, ELT Group has been successfully partnering with Barceló Hotel Group as an exclusive partner since 2024, a collaboration that already includes the construction of the large-scale "Spanish Quarter" project in the heart of Tbilisi. The network’s global performance metrics strongly reinforce its positioning in the international market. Barceló Hotel Group ranks among the top 20 largest hotel chains worldwide and is the second-largest operator in Spain. The group currently spans over 250 four- and five-star hotels across 25 countries.

The Occidental Hotels & Resorts brand itself is centered around the "Easy Living" concept, which focuses on practical comfort, seamless adaptation to the local environment, and high standards - all of which will be fully integrated into the new Batumi location.

The development history of Barceló Hotel Group clearly demonstrates that sustainable growth, operational excellence, and continuous innovation are the primary driving forces behind its long-term success. Being named the World's Leading Hotel Management Company for the fifth consecutive year is more than just another award; it is a testament to a corporate culture rooted in quality, guest experience, value creation, and long-term vision. Another major validation of Barceló Hotel Group’s international reputation and operational expertise is its strategic partnership with the Kempinski Group. Under this collaboration, Barceló oversees the commercial and operational management of ultra-luxury hotels within the Kempinski portfolio. This fact further cements the brand's standing as one of the world's premier hospitality operators and underscores the vital role professional hotel management plays in generating sustainable value for investors and property owners.

ELT Group's strategic alliance with Barceló Hotel Group confirms the sheer scale, credibility, and international quality of the company's developments. Furthermore, integrating an international branded hotel into the "ELT Quarter" under Barceló's European management standards will offer owners and guests premium-class service, which in turn guarantees strong investment returns. As stated by the company, this is not merely an agreement, but a profound integration of European expertise and hospitality standards into the Georgian market. ELT Group is laying the foundation for a project that will elevate current development standards to a whole new level. Partnering with such an experienced and large-scale brand aims to create high-end centers of attraction, both in the capital with the "Spanish Quarter" project, and on the Georgian Black Sea coast within the "ELT Quarter."
